Last updated: 4 October 2026

Before completing the booking, please review the information for the selected activity, the total price and the following essential conditions. The full General Booking and Contracting Terms and Conditions will be available through a link before the booking is confirmed.

BOOKING AND AVAILABILITY

Places are limited and subject to availability. Booking at least 24 hours in advance is recommended. Bookings made less than 24 hours in advance may require validation by Peña Txuri Surf Eskola. If the booking cannot be accommodated, an alternative will be offered and, if no alternative is suitable, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.

SURF LESSONS AND COURSES

As a general rule, the booking will be formalised by advance payment of 20% of the total amount, with the remaining 80% payable before the activity begins. Changes of date and/or time may be requested at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. If a cancellation or change is communicated less than 24 hours in advance, the 20% deposit will not be refundable. A no-show will not entitle the customer to a refund or change of date.

VOUCHERS

5- and 10-lesson vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and are personal and non-transferable. Each lesson must be booked in advance and is subject to availability. A lesson booked using a voucher may be cancelled or changed at least 24 hours in advance without deduction. With less than 24 hours' notice, or in the event of a no-show, the lesson will be considered used and deducted from the voucher.

GROUPS

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking for 6 or more participants. For groups of 6 to 17, the final number may be changed up to 24 hours in advance. For groups of 18 or more, it must be communicated at least 72 hours in advance. Later reductions do not reduce the price calculated for the confirmed number. Increases are subject to availability. If the group does not attend, the 50% deposit will not be refundable.

SURF CAMPS

Camps must be paid in full when booking, unless another payment method is expressly indicated. If the customer cancels: more than 30 calendar days before the start, 90% will be refunded; between 30 and 15 calendar days, 50% will be refunded; less than 15 calendar days before the start, no refund will be made. A no-show will not entitle the customer to a refund. If cancellation is due to illness or injury supported by a medical certificate, 90% will be refunded regardless of when it occurs, with 10% retained as administration costs.

INJURY OR ILLNESS

For individual lessons, a change to another available date may be offered without applying the usual cancellation penalty when a medical certificate is provided. For vouchers, the lesson will not be deducted where the inability to attend is duly documented. For courses already under way, the school will consider allowing the unused part to be taken later or another solution appropriate to the service and circumstances.

SEA, WEATHER AND SAFETY

Surfing takes place in a changing natural environment. For safety reasons or to ensure suitable conditions, Peña Txuri Surf Eskola may change the time, beach or area where the activity takes place, meeting point or activity plan. If the service ultimately cannot be provided safely and no suitable alternative can be offered, the customer may choose between a change of date at no additional cost or a 100% refund of the amount corresponding to the service not provided.

CANCELLATION BY THE SCHOOL

If Peña Txuri Surf Eskola definitively cancels an activity and it is not provided, the customer will be offered a change to another available date at no additional cost or a 100% refund of the amount corresponding to the service not provided.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Where legally provided, the general 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure activities contracted for a specific date or period of performance. Vouchers or other services purchased without a specific date or period will be governed by the legally applicable withdrawal rules.

MINORS AND PARTICIPATION

Bookings for minors must be made or authorised by their father, mother, legal guardian or duly authorised person. Participants must follow the instructions of the technical staff and, before the activity begins, report any circumstance relevant to carrying it out safely.
