It is very sheltered by Mount Buciero (Santo\u00f1a), which greatly slows down the swell coming in.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Swell (size):<\/strong> Laredo needs <strong>A LOT of swell<\/strong>. If Sopelana has less than 2 metres, Laredo will probably be flat. Only check it when there are big-wave warnings (3\u20134 metres or more offshore).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wind:<\/strong> It handles <strong>westerly (W)<\/strong> and north-westerly (NW) winds very well thanks to the shelter of the mountain, although its ideal wind is still southerly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The area:<\/strong> The camera usually shows the central area or the \u00abEl Puntal\u00bb side.
