The advanced level at Pe\u00f1a Txuri Surf Eskola is designed for surfers who already execute manoeuvres consistently and want to push their surfing to the limit: backside snaps, airs, barrels or paddling into bigger waves. We work in very small groups with a real training focus at Sopelana and the best surrounding spots.<\/p>\n

At this level coaching zeroes in on the details that make a difference: manoeuvre set-up, back foot position, shoulder rotation. Our instructors have competition experience and use advanced video analysis.<\/p>\n

What minimum level is required for Pe\u00f1a Txuri's advanced surf sessions?<\/h3>\n

You should be able to catch frontside waves consistently, execute bottom turns and basic reentries, and have experience in various wave conditions. If you're unsure, we'll do a free assessment before you sign up.<\/p>\n

Can I train for surf competitions at Pe\u00f1a Txuri?<\/h3>\n

Yes. We have a competition programme for surfers who want to enter the Basque and national circuit. We work on heat strategy, reading contest conditions and surf-specific physical training for high-performance surfing.<\/p>\n

What makes advanced training different from regular lessons?<\/h3>\n

At the advanced level there's no traditional lesson.
